Our Team

At Cavalry Wines we are a small but passionate team.

Wine Maker

Our wine maker is Adam  the well known chef turned wine Maker. Adam has done several vintages in Europe and this skill comes through clearly in his ability to understand the nuances of our vineyard which is largely older vines. His ability to produce a gold medal wine in only our second year shows his skills as a wine maker.

Vineyard Manager

Our vines are lovingly nurtured by Tim who has learned quickly to handle the temperamental nature of our vineyard which was planted over many years by the previous owners

Property Manager

The property overall is managed by Steve who has many years experience in property management and he has overseen substantial redevelopment of the property since we took it over just four years ago.

Owners

The principles Josephine and Peter are regularly involved in the day to day workings of the estate. The estate is held in trust by  Peter and Josephine for the grandchildren of the family.

We are also very ably assisted by Baxter our dog and our gardeners, the 10 sheep, who are amazing at keeping our vineyard free of weeds.
